CNC Milling Service

Superior Machining & Fabrication is a custom Machining shop in Texas, specializing in CNC Milling. Our CNC milling services, in particular, are rooted in the history of the company’s founding, as Superior Machining began with one mill and one lathe at our disposal. CNC milling services quickly became a staple of Superior Machining’s business, and while our company has developed a wider range of services over the years, we continue to hold our position as a milling-heavy operation.

5-Axis Milling

Superior provides 5-axis CNC machining to achieve an angular tolerance of two thousandths of a degree (.002°) and linear tolerances of two ten-thousandths of an inch (.0002”) to meet the needs of the most advanced applicationsfrom aluminum structures to hard metal applications. Furthermore, as it concerns horizontal milling operations, Superior Machining is capable of producing milling components from small to large in size.

Material Options for 5-Axis Milling

Superior Machining is known for its ability to meet the unique manufacturing needs of our customers. As such, we have experimented with machining and milling a wide variety of different material types. Our milling team is not intimidated by any unique material that a customer requests—on the contrary, Superior Machining is eager to take on the challenges that have proven to be too difficult for our competitors.

If you are curious to learn more about the most commonly used materials, our team can walk you through projects that are similar to yours and explain why certain options prove to be more advantageous than others. For example, in recent years we have produced many 5-axis milling runs using both aluminum and stainless materials.

Just-in-Time Parts

Superior utilizes multiple flexible manufacturing work cells for short-run machining which have enabled us to provide world-class production for a broad range of industries. Our processes and equipment combine to create an efficient workflow that minimizes downtime and shortens our already quick turnaround times.
